Rajiv Ouseph on Course for Record Fifth Title at English National Badminton Championships

Top seed Ouseph (Middlesex) defeated Neil White (Notts) 21-8 21-8 in this morning's quarter-finals and will now meet Ben Beckman (Surrey) in this evening's semi-finals.


Third seed Beckman (pictured) edged his way into the last four by beating Rhys Walker (Warks) 20-22 21-19 21-17.


In the bottom half three-times runner-up Carl Baxter (Kent) moved  into the last four with a 21-15 21-14 win over Jamie Bonsels (Yorkshire).


In the semi-finals he will face fourth seed Toby Penty (Surrey), who won a close three-game contest with European Under 17 winner Alex Lane (Devon) 21-12 13-21 21-19.
