Harrow was founded in 2001 by Mark Hayden through the acquisition of Bancroft, America’s oldest racket manufacturer, established in 1882.
After several years of building a solid foundation, they expanded from squash into other niche markets to include real tennis, lacrosse, hockey and field hockey. They now support and sponsor many US college squash, hockey and lacrosse leagues.
By 2007, Harrow added its own branded apparel line and a production department with screen printing and embroidery capabilities, which now comprise nearly 50% of the company’s business. Harrow is still the only squash manufacturer who offers the facility to modify their standard range of squash kit with alternate graphics with unique designs to consumers.
Through 90 employees, Harrow sell worldwide to over 1,500 institutions, 1,200 retailers, many overseas distributors in addition to its consumer direct business. To cater for one of the world’s largest squash markets, Harrow now have a dedicated UK distributor Kentbridge Sports, to make their products available without shipping delays.
Harrow strives to be the premier equipment and apparel provider for athletes, with a commitment to supply high performance products, custom craftsmanship and personalized service with customer satisfaction being the highest priority.
